Get a feel for life aboard an ocean-going rowing boat

In 2018, Andy became the first person to row solo around Great Britain – a trip that was inspired by the Adventure Travel Film Festival. Having never rowed a boat before and never been to sea, he set out on a circumnavigation that took him 174 days and 16kg of chocolate!

For his next adventure he’s being joined by fellow shipmate Rosalind, to row 3,000 miles unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean in a very tiny boat. This is Rosalind’s first big ocean crossing after studying ocean physics and she can’t wait to dip her toes in the water.

They will be joining us at the ATFF 2022 along with their ocean rowing boat, Spirit of Ahab, for you to get on board and snoop around.
