Do you want to write about your travels and get paid for it? This practical 90-minute session will look at online travel journalism in today’s changing media world. Topics will include the types of stories editors are looking for, which topics work well and get shared, and how to write a successful pitch. You’ll also receive tips on writing engaging, web-friendly features with unusual angles, how to combine words and images effectively for online, and what you can expect to be paid. The session will end with a 20-30-minute Q&A and all attendees will receive a workshop summary to take home.
