The London 2018 Adventure Travel Film Festival is now over.
Here’s info about food and drink, for posterity!
Breakfasts and suppers in the dining hall were available to buy in advance online as well as on arrival at the festival HQ tent on Friday and Saturday. A few tickets can be bought on spec at the dining hall during the meals. Buying the meals in advance means less time in queues at the festival – just bring your printed out meal ticket receipt to the festival and show at the dining hall!
Prices were:
- £9.25 for breakfast (full English, fruit, cereals, toast etc plus drinks)
- £10.50 for supper (three courses)
- Buy all four meals for a discounted price of only £37 – that’s Fri, Sat supper and Sat, sun breakfast. Well worth it!
We strongly recommend that you buy meals for the dining hall in advance as other options are limited on-site e.g. there is very little provision for suppers other than in the dining hall.
If you don’t buy a breakfast meal ticket, the Indoor Cafe which will have croissants, pain au chocolat, pots with yoghurt, granola and fruit. Or you can self-cater (no BBQs on the grass though please).
We have THREE locations serving coffee so there should be no reason to queue for long if one of them is busy. The Fratelli coffee cart will be up on top terrace serving fresh coffee. This can get busy at peak times so inside the building, near the Indoor Cafe there is a “bean to cup” vending machine serving the same fresh coffee as the Fratelli cart for £2.50. The Indoor Cafe also sells tea and instant coffee, plus hot chocolate. So all of your morning caffeine needs should be met.
Lunches are available from the Indoor Cafe (selling paninis, sarnies, snacks, tea, hot chocolate, instant coffee and juices) which will be open: Friday 3-8pm, Sat 8-8pm and Sun 8-2pm. Menu available below. Also on Saturday 11am – 2pm we’ll have the outdoor BBQ and hog roast up by the bar, selling meaty and veggie options too.
This year we are moving the bar so you can sup your ales whilst enjoying the view. The bar will be outside by the portico and is well stocked with ales, lager, wines, fizz, spirits and soft drinks. There’s no need to bring your own booze as the bar will be open throughout the festival: Fri 4pm – midnight, Sat 12pm – midnight, Sun 12 -2pm. Bar prices now available below too.
Please note: do not bring any glass to the festival… this is a huge headache for us… buy your drinks from the bar!
