What We Collect and Receive

In order for us to provide you with assistance and services, we need to collect and process certain information.

Contacting us

When you contact us by email or using the contact form on this website, we will store information including your name, email address, and enquiry content.

We will retain this information for as long as required to respond to and resolve your enquiry, and for up to one month afterwards. The information may be retained in our automated backup snapshots for a further two months after it is deleted from our live systems.

If you contact us to volunteer to help at our festival in Scotland, we may keep your enquiry on record for up to five years.

Mailing list

When you subscribe to our email mailing list, we will collect your email address and retain it while you remain subscribed to the list. If you unsubscribe, we may retain your information for a further two months in our data backup snapshots.

Purchasing tickets

When you purchase one or more event tickets from us, we may collect, process, store and use personal information including your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card/payment details. We may also collect personal data that you give to us about other people if you register them to attend an event. You agree that you have notified any other person whose personal data that you provide to us of this privacy notice and, where necessary, obtained their consent so that we can lawfully process their personal information in accordance with this policy.

We’ll use the information we collect when you purchase one or more event tickets for purposes such as to:

  • Send you information about your order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your (optional) account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store ticket purchase information for up to seven years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing address.

We may share parts of this information with our payment processor (Stripe) and our ticketing partner (Ticket Tailor) as described below, purely to take your payment and to send you the tickets you have ordered.

Your Rights

You have the right to be informed of Personal Information processed by Sprocket & Spark Ltd, a right to rectification/correction, erasure and restriction of processing. You also have the right to ask from us a structured, common and machine-readable format of Personal Information you provided to us. We can only identify you via your email address and we can only adhere to your request and provide information if we have Personal Data about you through you having made contact with us directly and/or you having purchased one or more event tickets from us. We cannot provide, rectify or delete any data that we store on behalf of our users or customers. To exercise any of the rights mentioned in this Privacy Policy and/or in the event of questions or comments relating to the use of Personal Information you may contact us at privacy@atff.scot. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Subprocessors

We use a select number of trusted external service providers for certain technical data processing and/or service offerings. These service providers are carefully selected and meet high data protection and security standards. We only share information with them that is necessary for the services offered, and we require them to maintain confidentiality and process Personal Information only according to our instructions. Retention of data
